Simple Salt Dough

It's HOT.

It's so hot it's too hot to go outside.

In fact, it's so hot it might as well be winter.

We've made attempts to play outside. But, even the kids are miserable being out in this heat.

So, we play inside which forces me to find creative ways to keep two little people happy.

Today we played with Salt Dough. The kids LOVE it and it keeps them occupied for a little longer than some of their other activities.

Here's the recipe:

Stay cool, and have a great summer!

I've always wondered how to make salt dough. I'm going to have to try using this for something fun. :)

Wow, you are so creative. I will follow you!
Found you from Tangled Happy, showing how to soften that rough yarn.
Any chance on helping me soften up the grouchy guys at work? HA HA

Aimee, you'll have to share what you make!

Kay, thanks for the compliment and the follow! You know, maybe a batch of salt dough for the grumpy guys at work might soften them up!
